We had trouble finding out anything about this bakery except what was reviewed on line and it never occurred to us that it wouldn't be open in the afternoon (the web link gives you nothing). So one day we headed out after lunch on a 20 minute drive through some rather ugly traffic on the anticipation of trying some different,... More

This is one of those little hidden gems...Hubby and I were looking for some decent coffee and a little breakfast...Saw Mike's Bake shop signage - wonderful pastries, Wonderful coffee, delicious doughnuts - and the loaf of cinnamon bread was AMAZING!!! Don't let the somewhat questionable "shopping center" and parking lot put you off. As soon as you step in, the... More

This is the epitome of a hidden local gem. I saw it on the map and my wife and I needed to eat something before we went on the best of the west excursion we had planned. Upon pulling into the parking lot, it doesn't look glamorous. Frankly, it looks a bit seedy, but immediately upon stepping in you are... More

We grabbed a few flakey pastries from this mom and pop shop and took them to beach. These were melt in you mouth great.

A wonderful neighborhood bakery with delicious pastries, cakes, breads and rolls. Don't be put off by the exterior or slightly bumpy parking lot. Great donuts (glazed, chocolate topped), napoleons (cut in small squares so you can try to eat just one and feel healthy!), long johns, and for the kiddies (keiki) half-hot dogs encased in a yummy little long bun... This little store doesn't look like anything from the outside. In fact I was a little apprehensive to go in. I'm so glad I did. This bakery is awesome. The butter buns and donuts are the best ever. The custard Danish and the little pastry with cream and chocolate are to die for! Also tried the buns with a sausage... More

My wife and I sampled some of their pastries in May 2016. They were quite tasty, in particular the delicate, flaky crust Napoleons. The custard filled Long Johns were quite nice too and surprisingly light. Skip the Danish though. Based on previous reviews, we inquired about their chocolate Eclairs, and were told that they do not, nor have ever, served... More

Stumbled by accident upon this little bakery, driving along the shore of West Oahu. First of all! This is sugar and white flour country, do not expect fine patisserie or fermented whole wheat doughs here. The place looks well used and could use updating, yes. But the owners Kim and John, are a very nice and funny couple, very generous... More

My mom used to bring me here when I was a kid. They had the best chocolate eclairs ever! It was called Miles Bakery back then. I went back in September, and it's sad to say I would not/will not return. The place is very old and run down. The pasteries/doughnuts are not good at all. I was very disappointed... More
