It's nice to see that good things don't change. Bill and Ben's have been around a long time, and they can still satisfy anyone with their large assortment of sweets including including ice cream. It's usually busy, but one will never find a candy store with more to offer.

This place gets a lot of attention. There is usually a long line in front of the place. They have lobster ice cream that seems to attract a lof of people. The ice cream (and I did not eat the lobster flavor) is fair. It is notthing great. There are much better shops for ice cream. I would skip this... More

This place has so much to offer! The chocolate smell wafts down the street and the line goes out the door :( I did a lot of my xmas shopping here though.

My boyfriend and I couldn't resist getting ice cream cones in 40 degree weather. The oreo was great. It's a little hectic in there because there's not a lot of space, but it's worth it!

The salted caramel fudge is out of this world. Eat it within a day or two (not a problem) as it seems to separate after three days.

If you are a fan of homemade ice cream you need to try the Lobster Ice Cream. I must say that it is an acquired taste...but then, so is the Bacon Ice Cream and I make.

We stopped in for a pic with the lobster and some icecream! The server was patient and let me try a few flavors before I chose. I tried the blueberry and the lobster (of course), but I decided to go with some Centennial Triple Chocolate which was probably the most delicious ice cream I've ever had!

I am sure that the chocolate is great, but for me the Butter Pecan ice cream is the best I have ever had. There was a line for ice cream and the servers handled orders efficiently, though I'd have probably waited an hour. Skip dessert at the restaurant!

Visited Oct 2-8, 2016 daily and experienced the Choc. PB PIe smoothies which were amazingly delicious! They offer lobster ice cream - free samples too! They hand make all their truffles and fudge. This is located right in the middle of Bar Harbor and was a busy place on previous trips walking the area. We decided to go have ice cream cones, we each ordered a small cone with chocolate and walnuts, flavor of ice cream was Oreo vanilla, the portion was big for a small. The taste of the ice cream was... More
