fairly crowded spot for a reason! the food was excellent and great service right at the bar. bartender was extremely knowledgeable about the beers and made superb suggestions based on patron tastes. personally, the ABT was the best! portions are spot on for the food an would definitely recommend to anyone checking out SF.

We just happened to be in the area and needed to feed the family. Very friendly and helpful service with an interesting selection on the menu. All of the food was cooked to perfection and some dishes I'd never had before. Try the Fried Pickles with Aioli - very nice surprise - along with the Corned Beef Hash. I don't... More

Great place for an extraordinary list of beers and food not to bad either. Enjoyed a good few hours sipping some wonderful brews I can't find other places. Especially liked the Scottish Rye beer. Staff was friendly too! Will be back.

We wanted to find a casual place to eat within walking distance. This was it! Fantastic. Light food to share. Bowl of marinated olives and fennel for starters was delicious. Charcuterie plate was fantastic and steamed mussels in beer also very good. They have a beer menu with about 5 pages worth of beer to choose from. Everything was great... More

It was packed when we got there just after 6pm on a Tuesday evening. Great vibe. We ended up sitting at the bar as we were not sure if we were staying for dinner as well. Great selection of beers (mostly over 5% alcohol) and very tasty food. Lots of people ordering takeaway.

I had on of the best burgers at Monk's Kettle accompanied with a proper IPA, recommended by the staff - whom were quite knowledgable. Will def. come back, though it can be crowded later in the day.

A weird and wonderful collection of beer and great food. This is a place for meeting with friends and having intense and enjoyable conversation. Lively but a place you can easily chat and hear each other. Highly recommended!

Here is a beer for everyone. Tested four different I had never heard of before. All spot on. Ordered the burger. Ok taste but could have been bigger. Recommend this place if you are in for beer
