I stumbled across this restaurant and thought it looked interesting. It is a small place with good ambience. However, many menu items were lacking and the advertised foie gras was unavailable. I finally ended up taking the recommendation of the waiter for a special braised...More

Had to wait almost 20 minutes for anyone to come to our table, even though there were only three occupied tables in the restaurant. The server then advised that several items on the specials board and the regular menu were not available that day. Food...More

What a great find and to think I only live 3 blocks from the restaurant surrounded by Italian and Chinese. The food was excellent French country. Perfect on a cold damp evening. Try the onion soup, beef bourguignon and duck confit. I can't wait to...More

First impression was, Are we sure we want to eat here? It is tiny, very poorly lighted, tables for two lined up on each wall. Then we sit down and the waiter informs us that 2 of the "specials" are unavailable as well as another...More

I enjoy French bistros, and this one is just ok. I had mussels and a salad which aren't that creative to begin with, but it was just OK in comparison to others I've eaten at. Bare bones decor, close to Chinatown. Pretty unmemorable all around.

Authentic French bistro in downtown San Francisco, excellent food at an affordable price. We were in Paris last year, and this restaurant reminded us of the great Parisian bistros we went to. An excellent choice.

Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but
can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s
version of Wall Street. The rush of business people
make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of
life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the
narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of
historic and contemporary architecture, including the
iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours,
