Overpriced for sure. $20 a pizza and only feeds one person. Drinks were $14 so we skipped that which is something I almost always get. Pizza tasted pretty good. Too many burnt spots for me personally but pretty sure that's how it is supposed to...More

First went here about 3 years ago. It was excellent. Food was good. But not sure why but the food has turned very bland and ordinary since then. It's definitely not what it used to be. Maybe the chef changed?

Zero Zero knows what to do with basalmic vinegar and olive oil. It is a gourmet restaurant hidden inside a pizza joint south of market. I ordered hamachi as an appetizer, and it was amazing. The kids loved the pizza. Everything on the menu, melt...More

One of the many restaurants in San Francisco, nothing really remarkable, expect the wine, very very overpriced. The pizza is good and the staff is friendly, not sure if the city needs another replace like this.

Nice SOMA-located restaurant with excellent Italian dishes. Quickly seated (we had reservations) and overall service was friendly and efficient. Pasta with lemon crème sauce and a pizza were both very tasty and served hot and timely. Wine list is small but satisfactory. Chocolate Budino dessert...More

Returned to Zero-Zero after a few years away from SF. Had a nice quiet lunch upstairs. Had to request table out of the sun, which made that area of the restaurant hot. Staff was pleasant and accommodating, Service was a bit slow, but not too...More

SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated
vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs
and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to
find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter
for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able
to do more than just business - museums, top quality
restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call
this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized

Sorry so late, but it's a smaller-ish restaurant. They may upstairs, where it's a bit more open.

Probably not. From what I remember of the menu, most of it was solid italian food. Decidedly gluten replete!

Description
Zero Zero opened in 2010 inspired by Chef Bruce Hill's dedication to farm driven ingredients, combined with his love for wood-fired pizzas that have been nicknamed "Calipolitan". Michael Bauer of the San Francisco Chronicle named us the French Laundrry of upscale pizza, and the readers of 7x7 Magazine voted us "Best Pizza in San Francisco". In addition to pizza, our menu showcases house made pastas, a variety of market-fresh appetizers, and artisan soft serve. We also have two big time bars with a selection of seasonal house cocktails, beers, and 12 wines on tap.
