Valentines Day I went with my husband and had one special menu, they had one trick, had 2 open Cabernet, and they gave me the most expensive one, although I believe that I drink the simple one, ok, 1/2 liter from one good Cabernet Frank...More

Walked in off the street on a Friday night for a quick dinner with a friend. No table available, so say at the bar. Friendly staff serving at the bar. Quick service. Pizza good quality base and toppings. Value average. Id certainly come back when...More

Perfect Dewars "12" on a single very large ice cube. Among the best pizza in San Francisco. It is on the thin side and a bit chewy. Desert of soft serve ice creme is special.

Super busy spot so make sure to have reservations before you go. The pizza and pasta are both amazing so you can’t go wrong with any.

Meals were not bad, but not anything special. Service was pretty average. Dessert (design your own sundaes and ricotta doughnuts) was the highlight.

Showed up without a reservation on NYE and even though the restaurant was all reserved they found a nice table to seat us at. All the staff were friendly and timely. The chef accommodated a food allergy and the pizza was exceptionally good. They have...More

Zero Zero was a surprise. I expected great pizza of course, but what surprised was the excellence of the service, which reflected very tight training and an unpretentious, friendly approach to the task without the phony too niceness that one finds in some spots. The...More

We’ve visited twice in November and several times last year. Each visit is consistent; cozy, friendly, efficient but unrushed. The margherita pizza is spot on and the salads are well built. Wine by the glass always interesting and well above ‘average’. A real neighborhood gem.

Few people told me to not bother too much about the menu expect for the pizzas. Really tasty and a bit pricey. Worth going... Much better than average pizza.

These were delicious, wood fired pizzas! Fresh, tasty ingredients and just all around good service. The server was happy to grab another waiter when she wasn’t confident with her white wine knowledge. There was a great and diverse wine list which we really enjoyed. The...More

South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated

Sorry so late, but it's a smaller-ish restaurant. They may upstairs, where it's a bit more open.

Probably not. From what I remember of the menu, most of it was solid italian food. Decidedly gluten replete!

Description
Zero Zero opened in 2010 inspired by Chef Bruce Hill's dedication to farm driven ingredients, combined with his love for wood-fired pizzas that have been nicknamed "Calipolitan". Michael Bauer of the San Francisco Chronicle named us the French Laundry of upscale pizza, and the readers of 7x7 Magazine voted us "Best Pizza in San Francisco". In addition to pizza, our menu showcases house made pastas, a variety of market-fresh appetizers, and artisan soft serve. We also have two big time bars with a selection of seasonal house cocktails, beers, and 12 wines on tap.
