We waited almost an hour and a half for brunch. Service was good and efficient Bloody Mary's were very tasty but not very strong. All of the egg dishes were uniformly excellent. The side potato dish was extremely good. Sticky buns very good as well. All in all we had a very good meal, but I don't know if it... More

Take a lovely walk on the beach, then head on over to this wonderful San Francisco gem, located on Judah a few blocks off the ocean. Start with the Outlander Bloody Mary, so perfectly blended with just the right balance of components, garnished with house- pickled veggies, such as green beans, okra or cauliflower. This week was crunchy turnip. Or... More

We wanted to like this place a lot. Showed up 20 minutes before opening and put our name on the clipboard they leave outside before opening. We were seated quickly and given good service. But the flavors felt off to us - the sweet bun had a cloying citrus flavor and my wife's "Dutch pancake" had cooked apples that had... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Outerlands; the atmosphere, food, and service were all excellent. This restaurant is casual and relaxing, with a "woodsy" rustic decor. The bread was so exceptional that my husband asked for a second order (which could be a mistake if you want to have several more courses!). The waiter & kitchen staff were very accommodating... I have heard a lot about this restaurant. When we arrived with our party of 7 at 10am, there was a 45 min wait on a Friday morning. 15 min later we checked it was a 40 min wait. As it was raining outside and cold, we were pretty excited to go in. We were seated at just past 11am.... More

We had heard good things about this cafe and made the trek from the other side of San Fran to get the much raved about dutch pancake. When we couldn't see it on the menu and asked our waitress about it she replied in quite a rude manner that "what you see on the menu is what you get". We... More

Many fine restaurants seem to have dishes that are very similar. They're all delicious, but they are very much the same. Finding a menu with a new taste combination seems rare, but you can find it at Outerlands in San Francisco. Not one item on their brunch menu looked like anything else: eggs-in-jail; jasmine rice porridge with butternut squash and... More

We went for our 3rd Anniversary breakfast (did not exceptit to be fancy) on our SF trip, it had decent sitting tables. Just the checked the nearby breakfast places and this one came up. oh man, they have really good dishes. I had " levain flatbread " and My wife had "cornbread benedict", both very super yummy. Coffee was good... More

A surprising place to go for breakfast and very popular with the local crowd. Get there early and make sure you sign up at the board. Good food and interesting spins on breakfast, eggs and they make great bread.
