I had one of the best grilled ham and cheese sandwiches ever. The addition of figs was interesting. Inside and outside sidewalk seating on busy Valencia St. in the Mission.

Mission Cheese is a cheese monger plus a restaurant serving up delicious sandwiches and other treats. They also have wine. We had the Pork and Cheese and California Gold. The bread was super fresh, crispy on the outside, soft on the outside. Perfect. There was plenty of cheese, it was nice and melty and delicious. Serve yourself water. the service... More

Off the wall chinese riffs that are delicious. If you are not adventurous you will hate this place. I love this place.

Two UK tourists wandering around San Fran stumble across Mission Cheese and have best cheese board and Mac & Cheese ever. Great beer and cider too. Busy so we had to wait for a seat, but staff were really friendly and honestly one of the nicest meals we've ever had. So happy right now (and full of cheese) :D

On our recent visit to SF, my wife and I found ourselves in the Mission District. Wanting something light for lunch, we stumbled into Mission Cheese and what a treat. Both the young lady that greeted us and the guy behind the counter were incredibly welcoming and knowledgable and made great suggestions. Definitely try their house-made pickled vegetables with your... More

I was so pleasantly surprised! I had walked by and it was always busy, so I thought "I should find out what the deal is". I'm so HAPPY I did. I've been back several times, and EVERYTHING in their menu was exquisite. Their wines, cheeses, sanwiches are all wonderfully matched, and if you follow the suggestions on their board you... More

From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighbourhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners.
