Visited this place 4 times during our SF visit. The latte was done to perfection every single time. Even with Almond milk. So creamy and just the right temperature for milk and coffee. I tried the freshly made waffles and they were delicious. I got my orders from the side window, somehow had a shorter line. Found it a tad... More

Yes it is hidden in a side street and yes is lokks and acts as a hip place. But I was a bit disappointed. The queue was not long, 3 people, still I waited 13 min for the cappuccino while the crew was serving others or chatting with their friends. The toast with poached eggs came absolutely uninspired (literally 2... More

A very attractive restaurant, with excellent service, yet I found the Mother's Day Brunch menu somewhat limited. Choices were Breads, Salad, Burgers, and a couple of breakfast items like pancakes. The food was good though!

Great coffee, up there with the best, small but easy enough to get a seat to work. Chilled relaxed vibe and not pretentious!

Whenever I travel and there is a Blue bottle nearby I will ensure I take the time to visit and enjoy the coffee. I also make sure to buy the Hayes Valley beans.

The line is mostly outside so dress for the weather. Trendy and a destination for coffee lovers. The "17 foot ceiling" espresso was expertly made into a smooth and tasty cappuccino. The pour over drip was interestingly earthy and different from most blends. I recommend the oatmeal too.

Went here purely because of TripAdvisor - you've got to sample the best coffee in town - right? It's one of those places that makes coffee-making an art form. They have the brand, the style, the staff, the vibe (awesome music), the taste and an ever growing reputation - they are on it. Paid 10 bucks for 2 coffees, this... More

I don't think you can find a better coffee anywhere else. It's as good as it gets. Service and the process all works fine and efficient. The breakfast was also food. Highly recommended for the coffee.

You have to queue for a short while to get your caffeine fix but it is absolutely worth it. Had the cappuccino which was reaaaaaaallly good.

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
