It's a cozy place, but very busy. Service is great and fast with good breakfast. We visited in St. Patrick's day so the guinness was flowing. LOL

This authentic feeling Irish pub offers several varieties of beer and a lot of screens around the room for sports lovers to enjoy. The feeling is comfortable and it is a nice place to go and have a good time. We had calamari which was served on abed of lettuce with sauce for dipping. Pretty standard bar food and pretty... More

Place smelled like an old mop bucket...possibly had just been cleaned. Staff was great but the ambiance takes away from the experience.

We stopped in here for Irish Coffees and they were very good. We did not have food, however, many patrons around us did and they were all raving about how good it was. This is a nice place, if you want a true Irish Bar/Pub ambiance. While we were there, they were had an excellent playlist and it was great... More

Awesome Pub in Financial District with a good ambience and good crowd. They had the UFC PPV for free which was a bonus and plenty of drink options with some 3-4 Star Food. Friendly staff and always on top of anything you may need, even as pub became packed.

This is the very cozy neighborhood feel sort of pub that has a lot to love. Exposed brick walls ... nice long pretty bar and outside tables to people watch. But only giving it a 3* because we specifically came her after a show because their website said the kitchen was open until midnight and we needed a late night... More

Found this place by accident on holiday. Essentially we went for dinner in little Italy but the specific restaurant (fussy gluten free girlfriend involved) but of course it was full with a massive wait so we started walking. Got lost in China town (unhappy hunger girlfriend involved) decided to walk back towards the bay (downhill – moderately more cheerful girlfriend... More

Good place to stop for a drink. Looks like they had decent food too but we didn't try it. I had an Irish coffee which was pretty good. We were actually visiting Chinatown in the morning and this is the only bar we could find open. Not a big place but it was a nice stop.

This was the closest Irish pub so we chose it for Irish coffee. The coffee was okay. I asked to have Fireball in mine instead of Irish whiskey. I had expected it to be the same or more than the standard Irish whiskey coffee, but to my surprise it was cheaper. This is an okay place for a quick drink,... More

As a resident of Boston for the past 35 years, my bar for Irish establishments is high. Irish Times exceeded that easily. The staff is wonderful, the interior is exactly what you want when you're in the mood for a proper pub, and the beer and food selections are excellent. I spent a week in San Francisco and visited this... More

Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
