I used to go one or twice a month with my friend when I was living in SF. Always the same order: Vietnamese carpaccio. Spring rolls. Spicy beef pho. Thai ice tea. Always fresh and tasty.

Five Spice Chicken Pho served with five spice broth and accompanying dish of sliced chicken breast marinated in 5 spices.. Exceptional dish! The free range shredded chicken in chicken broth had a nuanced tasty broth. Tummy warming on a cool, breezy SF day.

They are extremely nice at this restaurant! We started with the spring rolls stuffed with pork deep fried, very good. Moved to garlic noodles with charbroiled pork. Food was great, fast and reasonably priced for what we received. The staff was friendly, and very attentive. Just a small family run place. Nice place to stop on a sunny Saturday inSan... More

I had the imperial rolls, five spice chicken & garlic noodles, with a sweet & spicy dipping sauce on the side. Big portions, very tasty and great service. Everything I tried was delicious. Not too greasy and full of flavor. The garlic noodles were exactly as I like them - fried, with minced garlic all over. Although it is a... More

Perilla is an unassuming place, but the food is great and the service spotless. It doesn't hurt also that the prices are reasonable so you'll have an amazing meal without braking your wallet. I love garlic noodles so I usually order the five spice chicken with garlic noodles, very tasty and the portions are huge! Their imperial rolls are very... More

We were a party of 8 including 3 kids. The service was very attentive. Main courses were served together, not an trivial task for any restaurant. The food was very good, not over spiced. Garlic noodles were excellent and five spice chicken was surpassingly delicious. The prices are very reasonable. We will definitely come back.

We ordered the PAPAYA SALAD WITH CHARBROILED BEEF, GRILLED PORK ROLLS, CHARBROILED PORK GARLIC NOODLE and everything came out so good! The garlic noodles were very tasty. We came back a second time for garlic noodles and jumbo charbroiled shrimp. Would definitely come here again on our next trip to San Fran.

So, we went here because of the great reviews. And since there were Asians inside eating and enjoying the food it seemed like a safe bet. I had the Five Spice Chicken with Garlic Noodles while the rest of my family had pho. The noodles were okay; nothing special. I liked the chicken but decided to split with my sister... More
