This place is on a par with the Portage Bay Cafe inSeattle as one of the top breakfast spots in the country. Huge portions of scrambled eggs with great toast and mounds of crispy bacon, endless cups of steaming coffee by hustling waitstaff. And it...More

LOL I went here specifically for American fare as I'm a visitor from overseas but it must have changed hands between Nov 2105 and now. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this in reviews. It's now Japanese fusion. Alright and packed out on Sat night but...More

We happened to wander past and the terrace looked so inviting we decided to sit and enjoy the sunshine. Just had a glass of wine while we people-watched but there was no sense of feeling that we needed to vacate the table quickly even though...More

Excellent, quick no fuss delicious meals. I had vegetarian crepe not because I am vegetarian but because they are delicious. Very friendly informal atmosphere nice music not too loud. Sat in the garden at the back much more pleasant than the street side.

Good service, great value, nice atmosphere, welcoming, good variety and overall an enjoyable experience - unlike almost every other restaurant, shop or facility we visited in this city which can no longer pride itself on delivering the once famous American customer care or responsiveness. Service...More

The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and
Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of
the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage
clothes, music, pop posters and body piercing shops.
While the Summer of Love ended decades ago,
Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of
hippies, hipsters, and professionals. Walking through
its streets can still feel like stepping back in time.
