We entertained a customer at this small Italian restaurant near the Moscone Center. Housemaid pastas, fresh bread and authentic sauces. The owner and servers were excellent, however it was a bit of a slow start as I think they were overwhelmed with the Oracle Open...More

This was a fabulous dinner recommended by Debbie at the Palace Hotel. The atmosphere was beautiful. Small, intimite dining atmosphere. Staff greeted us and promptly seated us. We had the lasagne and the pepperdelle. Both were very, very good. Mossimo delivered a surprise dessert to...More

We had an OK dinner here on a Friday night. I had fresh pasta with a lamb sugo. Pasta was slightly overcooked and sugo had no taste of lamb. My wife's lasagna was better. While the dinner was OK the ambience was awful. There was...More

The owner, Massimo, and servers were attentive and delightful. The food was superb. I mentioned one of my favourite pastas (spaghettini al'alio, olio, pepperoncini ... excuse my misspellings) and Massimo said, with gusto, "of course we can make that for you!!!" An absolute delight and...More

If you want a traditional Italian meal, look no further! It is best to book but you may get lucky early-mid week. Try the lasagna, OMG!

Consistently wonderful! Massimo runs a wonderful place. Wouldn't be a trip to San Francisco without coming here.

South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated
