Mo's burger's on Grant Ave, is not a chain. Each burger is carefully weighed and the meat quality is top notch. the burgers are grilled on a slow spinning grill over lava rocks. Any food at Mo's is good and I have never had any meal that was below a 100% satisfaction. My favorite burger by far is the French... More

We found Mo's via Tripadvisor and must say we were not disappointed. It's a little off the beaten track when compared to the more tourist areas around fishermen's wharf but well worth the effort. We visited four times during our ten day holiday in San Francisco for both breakfast and lunch and were always welcomed by the waiting staff even... More

I reviewed Mo's several years ago during a previous trip to SF - went back to see if it was as good as I remembered. I think it was even better! These burgers are fantastic - I get the western with BBQ sauce - yum!! But the star of the show?? The best fries in San Francisco. Fresh, crunchy, tasty!!... More

Mo's was referred to us by the staff at Mama's as the line at Mama's was 1 hr 45 minutes. We were very pleased with the breakfast and service at MO's. The portions were large and the food was tasty. We ordered the Italian omelette and French toast. I would definitely recommend Mo's for their food, you will not be... More

Stopped by with two girlfriends on a Saturday morning around 9am. The coffee was magnificent, the potatoes are TO DIE FOR and the eggs I had over easy, along with thick, smokey bacon... I couldn't be more impressed. The wait staff was AMAZING. The smiliest group of ladies, that made us feel so welcome. They filled up our coffees and... More

Mo's is absolute gem of a place. A quaint diner style place giving it a really relaxed feel. Plenty of choice on the menu to suit all tastes and really friendly staff. The highlight for me was the rotating grill that they cook the burgers on. I can honestly say this was one of the best burgers Ive ever had.... More

Found this while looking for somewhere for breakfast. Bingo!!! This place was amazing, fantastic food, good menu and friendly service. As we left there was a sizeable queue, and with good reason. We had bacon and eggs, which was accompanied with fried potatoes (divine!), toast and preserves. the coffee cup was continually being filled - this place was everything you... More

It's a simple but atmospheric place. The Burgers are close to the best in town. Especially the Avocado Burger is on top! I loved it! Prices are fair, bottled beer only.

Staying in North Beach / Telegraph Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
North Beach / Telegraph Hill
The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian ristorante come together to create the charming neighbourhood of North Beach, once the stomping grounds for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of North Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always suitable for younger visitors, few neighbourhoods in the city exude as much European charm and style. Peruse a bookstore for the literature of Kerouac, Ferlinghetti and Ginsberg, grab some gelato and head to Washington Square for a perfect afternoon of people watching. Just east of North Beach, the hills and staircases of Telegraph Hill are a unique delight. At its peak, the art deco Coit Tower provides sweeping panoramic views of the bay and city. The beautifully landscaped Filbert Street Steps, a street too steep for a roadway, rewards those willing to hike uphill. Keep your ears open and you might even hear the squawk of the wild parrots who call this neighbourhood home.
