First, the service is nonpareil with my favorite waiter who remembers my name and my drink. The soup is scrumptious, whether it's squab, lobster, crab, etc. The courses were outstanding and I have eaten here many times since the 1990's. My adieus, Tommy's terrific staff!

Having been highly recommended to this chinese restauarnt I found the food commercial and not impressive. The choice is far too large for there to be any 'Haute Cuisine' which it seems to pride itself on. The service is far too rushed in a attempt...More

This was one trip of many to this restaurant. The room is a bit dated as expressed by others but I was not there for the decor. The food quality is fresh and the chef does an incredible job each time I have been there....More

Had dinner last night, great location next to Pyramid in the financial district. Service was excellent, but food was mediocre. Both entrees were bland, and the room is a little "worn" around the edges(chipped paint, and scrapes on the walls).

I had a wonderful lunch at Tommy Toy's this week and was not disappointed. I have been to this restaurant many times on special occasions and just decided to go with a co-worker for a "just because" lunch. We ordered the dine-around town lunch special....More

I took a few physicians out to dinner on 1/24/13 and found TT's to be nice, but not terrific. Service was quite poor and had to track down our waiter many times. He was delightful and nice, just absent. Food was good, but not great...More

Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but
can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s

make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of
life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the
narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of
historic and contemporary architecture, including the
iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours,
