We chose this restaurant due to its proximity to our hotel. We knew nothing about it. We were happliy surprised by its ambience upon walking in. The restaurant "tables" seemed to be culturally traditional, and we were treated to music and belly dancing. The food was delicious, and the expert tea pourers got it perfect! We'll definitely recommend to others.... More

Ate here after the magic show downstairs (Jay Alexander-fabulous!) and enjoyed the lamb dishes which were very tender. Nice touch to have hand washing before meal and perfumed after...belly dancing was ok. Limited wine selection. Service by wait staff felt disjointed, inattentive as if we were served as they passed by our table....

Located on Farrel, just off Union Square, I had been attracted by their menu displayed outside the restaurant. The place is decorated like a Morrocan restaurant, which you'd expect, and which made a great initial impression. Seating is on low Morrocan sofas, which seem comfortable at first, but become very incomfortable when it comes to dining. The place is pretty... More

We happen to come across this place when looking on opentable for dinner. We were seated right away and greeted with mint tea, which is a show in itself to watch them pour. Menu has great selections for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. You can order the full dinner (your entree choice along with soup, salad, dessert etc) or ala... More

We happend on this little restaurant by accident while looking for a steak house in the area. Our Russian waitress was very helpful and friendly. The guy that brought us our wine took a cel phone call while he was opening the bottle and we just broke up. he never did pour the wine, but left us there almost rolling... More

My partner and I ordered a lamb Tagine Dinner for $42 and since I was not hungry, we decided to split the dinner. Little did we know that dinner is full course-from appetizer, to bread, to soup, to Moroccan salad, to Main Course, (It's the best) and the Baklava desert. And there was a Belly Dancer who performs well and... More

My wife and I revisited this restaurant after a 35 year absence. There were a few changes over the years. During our original visit, we sat on a large cushion on the floor and ate without utensils. This time was more conventional. What hasn't changed was the quality of the food and the service,. I ordered the lamb in an... More

Food was not good. Not tasty. Very noisy with loud music. Give you a hint about Moroccan food, and Moroccan style. There is a singer and a belly dancer. However, I would not recommend this place for the food or for the songs.
