I love their red snapper and jerk chicken with rice and beans. The red snapper is so flavorful and the staff are cool. There's seating outside as well. There's no other place like it in SF. If you crave Caribbean flavors, you must go here! I actually want it now!

I have been to other Jamaican-influenced restaurants in the Bay Area. It is perhaps unfair to judge one versus the other on the basis of just one meal, but in this case I will. We had a most enjoyable experience at Primo Patio Cafe. If I could give them 4.5 stars I would. The dining area is an enclosed (by... More

While in the area of AT&T Park, a friend recommended to try out Primo Patio. It is like a couple of blocks from AT&T Park, near the Willie Mays Plaza. After walking through the entrance and narrow hallway, you seat yourself in the patio. A fan of anything chicken, I ordered the signature dish of grilled jerk chicken. It came... More

I love this joint. It's simple and awesome. The food is too. Jerk chicken is a winner, but try anything on the menu and you'll love it.

Affordable good food around Mission Bay is very hard to find. Primo Patio is a great little cafe with awesome jerk chicken and fries! The full plates are quite a bit of food compared to the sandwich or pita. Fries can be submitted with roasted potatoes or cumin rice. The grilled fish is pretty tasty as well.

This is definitely a neighborhood gem! The fish was fresh and delicious, and the waitperson was friendly and welcoming. The patio is very cute--decorated Caribbean style. It is easy to miss- the storefront is small and the patio is hidden from street view. Most of the entrees can be made gluten-free.

This place is so FUN and YUMMY/DELICIOUS! I have had almost everything on the menu and never been disappointed. I cannot stay away from the jerk CHICKEN! The jerk chicken dinner or jerk chicken salad is incredible. Truly. I've gone here for many years and sent manyeee people there that THANK ME for the recommendation. Not only is the food... More

Great jerk chicken in this casual outside café. Service is great with an extensive menu in this "hole in the wall" outdoor restaurant between Moscone Center and AT&T ballpark. It's worth a visit.

We went here for an early dinner before a Giants game. Apparently they don't generally serve dinner, except on game nights, so if you're going for dinner call ahead for their hours. We got there early at 4:00 and were initially put off as it appeared to be a take-out place, but the reviews were good and said they had... More

I went there for lunch with my boyfriend and you definitely need. They were clearly understaffed but you could see they were trying their hardest to make things work. The restaurant was packed and they had only one person taking orders. It is outside seating. I ordered a steak sandwich. It was absolutely delicious though the fries could of been... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
