Always quick service, good food and inexpensive. I have been going there for a couple of years with my family and friends

Combination lunch has many options. I had Saba shioyaki and tuna sashimi, and miso soup, my friend had beef Teriyaki and tempura and miso soup. Two other friends had yellow tail tuna and Saba shioyaki. We all said great lunch and VERY reasonable, I think $60 or so.

Quick cheap and delicious. Not too fancy but who needs that! Its a good stop for a good and budget oriented meal. The service was quick and the food was good. Lots of locals.

Average Japanese fare, but priced really cheaply. If you are on a budget and just want some Japanese fare, you can find some good deals here as they have some reasonable set lunches and dinners. The sashimi is not bad either though they slice it thinner than other sushi places. Probably because of the cheaper price.

This is a no-nonsese Japanese restaurant with decent food and entrees for under $15 - a rarity in this neighborhood. Nothing special, just good standards. Very tender rib eye teriyaki, crispy not greasy pork cutlets, spicy fried chicken wasn't spicy and batter was too hard.

I've been in this restaurant once in my holiday and we were very hungry, so we ate a lot and were surprised to find its a very cheap place to sit in. So, after few days we came back and ordered also a big meal. The cost was again not too much and the food was simple and clean. Recommended... More

I do not recommend Kitaro Sushi for fine sushi, but the food is perfect for you basic teriyaki and fun maki rolls, The service is friendly, but when busy they focus on turning tables. This place is always full.

I came here with a friend who has been before. I ordered her favorite which was the Udon Curry Noodle soup with Chicken Kaarage, oh this was so yummy! I love noodle soups in the city when the fog is chilly - a bowl of soup feels healing. My friend and I had great service, and we even over stayed... More

Driving through the city today, and I had to stop in this restaurant to try their sushi and sashimi. The wonton soup was tasty and quite perfect for a cooler day. Loved the sushi spider roll and sashimi sampler. Very reasonably priced. Looking forward to returning again soon!

Ok I guess, I liked the combos, but their sushi wasn't good, and the staff was so rude. I never knew who was waiting on me, and we'd always have to flag them down if we needed something like we were such a bother to them.
