Located in a lovely neighborhood on Cole. Wish we had more time to explore the area, but had to get to airport. This little cafe was great for breakfast/brunch which is served every day. We were there during the week and it was busy. Suggest...More

4 couples had a great night dining at Zazie. The back patio is covered and has heat lamps, and it’s quite the nice atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable, especially when you do NOT have to tip - the cost of the service is built into...More

My wife had bacon and eggs and fried potatoes with garlic. She said they were to die for. French toast with carmelized bananas, truly decadent. Great coffee too. One of those mornings you don't want to end. Service was very attentive. If we ever get...More

I probably can run of superlatives to describe Zazie. My wife and I stumbled on this breakfast place in SF. The food was awesome. Delicious. There was not a long wait to sit inside. They have outside seating as well. Small place and you are...More

Had a great brunch with the family. No wonder the big lines! Loved the menu, had a hard time deciding what to have, so we ordered many items. Best: Benedict with Crab Tahiti Pancakes Sign me up for our next trip to SF!

We had yummy hot chocolate, the Scrambled Egg Cannes and Pancakes (the pumpkin special and the gingerbread with lemon)! Large portions, but you can order one pancake, etc. One couple ordered five plates of food, so they could try multiple things. The French toast looked...More

Zazie is so cozy and warm, and the service is welcoming and attentive. It's one of the most comfortable restaurants in SF, imo. The cassoulet is absolutely exquisite - hearty and delicious. Good wine list, too. My ex/now best friend is French (Paris/Auvergne) and he...More

I have to say our expectations were high after a friend recommended this place. Sorry to say it did not live up to the hype. I had the Florentine eggs Benedict, bacon and home fries. The potatoes were so garlicky that I barely tastes anything...More

The food is luscious - full of flavour and beautiful seasoning. The hot, hot fresh rolls sold me from the start! One of our guests has a garlic allergy and they were able to provide a lovely meal. The wine was well paired and if...More

Two in our party had had brunch and totally loved it. Yes, they had to wait a "longish" time they were seated but reported it was well worth the wait.

There are some gluten free options for Brunch and pretty sure they accommodate for dinner as well. A great menu to pick from.

It is 20 minutes, so you might want to stay in the area once there. Haight and Ashbury is a 5-10 min walk. Golden gate park is about a 10 minute walk as well. We also from there went to 16th ave tiled steps (1700 16th... More

Description
Zazie is a small neighborhood bistro in a historic building in Cole Valley, near the upper Haight and UCSF with a gorgeous well heated garden patio. We are famous for our American style brunch, served seven days/ week, but dinner is the hidden gem- country French cooking at it's best served with warmth.
