We went a week before Valentine's Day, The environment is very nice a bit fancy and casual at the same time for being on a boat. You can definitely feel the boat rock, so make sure you plan to go on a day less windy, otherwise someone may become more sea sick than usual. Food was great, even though the... More

Take a private ferry to a $70 prix fixe dinner in an underwater dining room. Climb to the top of the lighthouse for amazing views. Service was friendly and attentive without being over bearing. Rack of lamb was amazing....even my vegetarian partner could resist a bite or two. The salmon was also good, but the lamb was the standout. The... More

Such a fantastic location for a restaurant, the little boat trip out to the lighthouse is novel, the lighthouse and outdoor deck is great. I was excited about the underwater restaurant complete with portholes, this was quirky and has so much potential if the interior was updated. The quality of the food wasn't great for the price, very disappointing. The... More

This place could easily be mistaken for a "tourist trap", because of it's location and unique environment. However, based upon a recommendation from a SF local, we decided to take a chance. Boarding a small boat that drops you off on a floating island was fun. When you arrive, stairs lead down to the restaurant, which is actually the hull... More

We have been looking at the island for years never knowing how great it would be. When we were picked up at the pier we were transported into another world. The decor of the dining area is lovely and unique, the service perfect and food devine. While it is expensive it is worth every penny. Loved everything.

From the moment the shuttle picks you up to the drinks at the bar to the experience of feeling like you are sitting underwater while you eat, this place is awesome in every way. The food is tasty and beautiful. The service is impeccable and the tour of the lighthouse is fun. This place is a must whether you are... More

What kind of dinner experience are you looking for? Is it all about the food? Or is ambience high on your list of priorities? This restaurant is definitely for the adventurous at heart who like to try new things. The restaurant is on a floating, man-made island. You take a boat to the island from the Pier. The island is... The atmosphere is unique and fun. The food was ok. The service was good. It is a floating restaurant so it does roll with the waves. You know when a boat goes by. We already had been told that so it was no surprise for us. The ferry ride of was great because of the captain. very nice.

I was taken to this restaurant by good friends of ours, who had heard really good things about it, and wanted to experience eating below-deck on a boat. And although the interior hull was decorated nicely, there wasn't much to see outside the portholes -- so in a way, it felt like being in any other restaurant. The food was... More
