The sushi was possibly the freshest and tastiest I've had in a long time. Very impressed and will definitely be a return customer.

I had tried to eat here last night (Friday), but it was fully booked. I called to make a reservation for tonight (Saturday) which I think is a must. I was in, seated and fed within 35mins which was perfect. The food was a great price and quality. Almost feel like it could be $$ rather than $$$.

Zushi Puzzle is a phenomenal sushi restaurant with delicious fish, attentive servers, and a laid-back environment. Roger is an amazing chef that provides an unforgettable experience for anyone sitting at his counter. Highlights include the fresh scallop nigiri, calamari/toro/salmon skin "salad", monkfish liver among many others. It's a great place to discover things that you haven't tried before. It's also... This place was a hidden gem... priced as $$$ on google maps, the prices were not at all that way! I'm glad we investigated further. The sushi is excellent quality and there are so many different types to choose from. The staff are all so friendly and we were absolutely blown away! Our kids loved it too. Thanks for having... Solid Sushi for the price - excellent service. I think we came in on Valentine's day so having reservations was key. The rolls were excellent - highly recommend the Romeo and juliet.

If you want really really really great sushi, go here. Roger is the chef, a native of China, and he personally picks out the fish at the markets. Get a place as his counter if you can, and watch him make the sushi just for you, and explain what he is doing. Not a fancy place decor wise, but who... More

I've been going to Zushi Puzzle for over 10 years, and it remains a great place for an evening meal. The fish is fresh and service is fast.

Really fresh sushi with huge somewhat overwhelming variety. Had 5 different types of yellowtail nigiri and a couple of rolls. Great staff but kind of strange layout with Sushi bar in separate room. Best miso soup ever. Will for sure be back.

We put our "lives" in the super capable hands of the Chef and he didn't let us down. I have never ever had such a variety of sushi and sashimi. Only real shame is that it takes 11 hours to fly to San Francisco from Denmark...

The food was average. I ordered Alaska roll, toro roll and Ikura roll. Alaska roll was fine, nothing special though. Toro roll was mostly rice with barely any fish in it. It tsted like rice and nothing else. My Ikura rolls have arrived much later after it has been a while since I had already finished the first two rolls,... More

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
