Ask for Stephan! Best waiter at Alioto's in a classic, old school Italian setting. The Crab Louie salad and the crab bisque should win awards and the views of the harbor are so romantic! Alioto's is PURE San Francisco cuisine.

My friends and I were looking for a restaurant at Fisherman’s Wharf for dinner. We found great food and great service. The crab bisque, calamari, wedge salad, and Creme brûlée were outstanding. The cocktail sauce needs horseradish, but the shrimp was perfectly cooked. We all...More

We had a great experience at Alioto's. Our server, Wayne, was excellent - attentive, personable, and really great. We both had salads, Dungeness crab, and tiramisu for dinner. Everything was perfect! Highly recommend Alioto's when you travel to the SF area.

I'm sorry I don't know either. I agree with the other's the corking fee would probably be for bringing your own wine. I've been there many times and have not noticed anyone bringing their own wine.
