Excellent Dim Sum at very reasonable prices. Small venue, down an alleyway in Chinatown. Service is fine, not exceptional.

Nondescript building and off the street location. Inside is not elaborate but the food was delicious. Some of the dishes were pretty spicy. For the three of us we ordered multiple dishes which we shared. Dumplings (such as pot stickers) were plentiful. Food was delicious...More

Went with my family to this hidden treasure. Nice atmosphere and cordial service. The pace topped our expectations for an authentic Chinese meal notwithstanding the waiting line of about 15 people. We tried several different plates but agreed the bbq pork dumpling was the best.

The good was very good. I would recommend one of the combo played - you get to try a variety of items for a reasonable price

What a great little Dim sum house. Built in the 1920s, it was the first Dim Sum house in the USA. The food was delicious. We came here on the recommendation of trip advisor and were not disappointed. Highly recommend.

I had a hard time rummaging through the immense amount of options in Chinatown. Found this place on a blog of “10 best” that appeared to have been written by a local. Hang Ah was our choice because of the reported “unusually friendly staff” and...More

I believe that it is. This place claims to be the oldest continuous running dim sum house in San Francisco. Very good.
