Absolutely ok Thai food. Would have rated with four points if potatoes would have been fully cooked. I had take away. Tasted really good but some extra "smell" of old fat, perhaps from spring rolls. I do regret not trying the Old Siam also close to the Hilton instead, I see now it was rated higher. But this really ok!

I had the fresh rolls, which has hardly any noodles and were unexpectedly mostly filled with lettuce. Then I had the pad thai, which was made with vermicelli and tasted almost ketchup-y. Service was very good.

Can't really speak for the style of Thai in the USA but the prices $11 were ok and the service prompt and friendly. Slightly bland but chili etc on tables so maybe catering for wide range of pallets

My husband and I just ate at this restaurant, which is actually called Million Thai Restaurant. The service was excellent, and the food was fabulous. We ordered the Panang Curry (dish on the left in the photo) and the Pad Khee Mao (dish on the right in the photo). Both dishes were excellent! The Panang Curry included red curry paste... More

I usually get take out as the seating is limited inside. Good Thai food at a reasonable price, especially in downtown San Francisco. The vegetarian fried rice was quite good and more than enough for lunch.

We were staying at the Mark Twain hotel which is 2 doors down from the Thai place. I never noted the name of the place but I knew by the location this was the one. The restaurant itself is pleasant, maybe a tad run down but if you are after good Thai food then give it a go. It seems... More

Food was great. Atmosphere was alright at best. Very small, seating for about 20 people only. We were asked to share a table with another person. Bar seating wasn't available, was used by the cook for counter space. Not a place you'd want to stay at for long. But was good to grab a quick lunch. Has a small TV.

Not a fancy restaurant. The food is good and prices are compatible with the place. I would recommend it for a night with friends or co-workers... Not a girlfriend or your boss.

Trip Advisor lists this address as Thai Place. The image on Google Earth street view shows Muang Thai. And my receipt shows Million Thai, which is over a mile away. Do restaurants in SF change names/owners that frequently? And, if so, why? Nonetheless, selection was fairly expansive, staff was pleasant, food was prompt, tasty and not excessivly MSGed. We had... Noodle soups rule here...choice of 5 or 6 kinds of noodles with variety of soups. Excellent if you just want a munch to hold you over. Half portion of soup is $5.00...unheard of in Union Square district. House specialty Chicken with rice is spicy but not too hot, and includes 2 pounded fillets of chicken. Very tasty, and again, very... More
