My wife and I go to Poquito about once every week. It is our favorite restaurant in Dogpatch. The food is always terrific, and we have come to know the staff and the owners. It is a very special place for us. And, of course, we love the food!

Great Tapas place. Lots of vegetarian and gluten-free options. In the menu card itself, you will find all the choices ! Service was quick, food was great. Easy to find parking. Do not miss their Llapingachos and Empanadas de Aire con guayaba. Just be careful of their red snapper tacos as they use jicama to make the wrapper and I... More

If you enjoy well-priced tapas and drinks check out this little restaurant in Dogpatch. Not crowded, parking is fairly easy and the food is tasty. I found the sangria and house pina colada a little sweet but really enjoyed the braised kale, croquetas, and shrimp tacos.

The tacos were so amazing with a jicama "shell". It was hard to imagine that it could be that good. We had the fish tacos, and the house made chips. Both were fantastic. It is primarily a dinner spot which meant my wife and I had a private seating for a Friday lunch date. There was no one there and... More

Hidden away among the warehouses (or former warehouses) along the Muni light rail tracks, Poquito is a bar and restaurant that specializes in small plates, most of which are priced at $6 to $10. The food and drinks were fine and the service was quick and friendly. Don't be put off by the empty stretches of the street out in... More

We really enjoyed the food, the drinks and the service of this place, nothing bad to say. It's different than Spanish tapas, and also different from other Latin American places in the Mission. The only weird thing was that it was empty on a Saturday night. I'm sure it's not always like that, otherwise it wouldn't still be open, but... More

Very pleased with our first visit to Poquito which serves Ecuadoran & Spanish small plates. Food was tasty, authentic & well made. We chatted with owner Richard who told us that his vision for the 3+ years old eatery is to serve Ecuadoran food his mother made when he was a child. His kitchen uses fresh ingredients & everything is... More

This place is a bit tucked away so we just discovered it after living nearby for a year. This is not a destination restaurant, in my opinion. But it is exactly what you'd expect for a great neighborhood restaurant: Well priced items that are delicious, attentenive but not overwhelming service, buzzing but not so crowded and loud that you can't... Poquito has great Cuban/South American food. Margaritas are great...happy hour is very good, food is authentic in a hip, hideaway atmosphere in emerging Dogpatch area of SF. Parking is a little tricky, but this is one to put on your list if in the area.

This is a great find if you have a hankering for good Mexican cuisine. Not too far from downtown, it is certainly worth looking for. The tortillas are made right in front of you and the food is very fresh and delicious. The chili rellenos are the best I have ever had - and I've tried them countless times. The... More
