While visiting “North Beach Festival”, we stopped in for desserts. We were not disappointed in the cheesecake (huge), cream puffs with custard (yummy) and the tiramisu (to die for)! The place is very tiny, not enough seats, and was very crowded the day we visited...More

Had after lunch desert here because recommended by family members. The canollis are very good. Pretty good selection for being such a small store. Gets pretty crowded but the wait wasn’t very long.

What a little gem. Really great variety of pastries. My partner had perhaps the best cheesecake we have ever tasted. Coffee was lovely too. Definitely stop here if you get the chance.

After reading all the reviews i came in here with high expectations for the sacripantina cake, I gotta say I was let down. While it wasn't bad, it certainly wasn't something I'd rave about. We also tried the napolean, it was also decent, but not...More

This cafe turned out to be a great stop during a 3 mile walking tour of San Francisco. It’s a quaint little cafe serving all kinds of Italian pastries. And, it seems as if Columbus Ave is a main thoroughfare in San Francisco. If you...More

I was on an organized walking tour of SF and our guide uses Stella as the coffee break place. He suggested their signature pastry was the sacripantina so I'm all about signature dishes. It was truly delish... kind of like Tiramisu but lighter. It was...More

This place has the best cannoli in the west coast. We also ordered the specialty called Sacripantina cake which is a vanilla flavored sponge cake with rum. Also ordered a puff cake, hot chocolate, and a coffee. I gotta say the coffee was delicious. They...More

North Beach / Telegraph Hill
The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds
of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian
ristorante come together to create the charming
neighbourhood of North Beach, once the stomping
grounds for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of
North Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always
suitable for younger visitors, few neighbourhoods in
the city exude as much European charm and style.
