Little Star has a cornmeal crust with a deep dish pizza and sauce that I crave. Because it's so hard to find parking, I always get it to go. 2 slices will satisfy you and my kids like it too so it's a win win for our family.

Very welcoming staff. Attentive and accommodating. Incredibly delicious pizza. Goodly amount of tasty tomato sauce, crisp crackling crust that holds up to the generous fillings. Reheats well, should you for some reason not eat it all. The tomato sauce is simply to die for.

If you like Chicago pizza, this is the best. As a Chicagoan I can say that it's the best. I prefer thin crust but this truly is Chicago finest. Staff is great. There is a 3% surcharge which pays for the employee's insurance. Way to go Little Star.

We tried the deep dish and the thin and crispy chicken pesto. The chicken pesto was amazing. The deep dish was good, just a touch too many what seemed like can tomatoes and not quite enough seasoning. Service was prompt but got off to a rocky start because it took a bit to be acknowledged. Food came out relatively quickly... More

My quest for the perfect pizza led me to the Mission, specifically to Little Star. Little Star offers both thin crust and deep dish style pizzas. Whenever I am in the mood for deep dish pizza its always a toss up between Patxi's and Little Star. Now what makes Little Star different from Patxi's is the crust. You can taste... More

We had plans to go to Little Star but Divisadero was a little out of the way for us. To our delight, we accidentally stumbled upon this branch on Valencia St and although we'd just eaten a little bit of lunch we popped in anyway and sampled their 'personal size' deep dish pizza. Absolutely delicious!! Really yummy fillings and the... More

Being a New Yorker, I have a strong preference of thin crust over deep dish. This place has both but I can definitely recommend the thin crust. We got the white pizza. Great beer selection also.

I have had lots of deep dish in Chicago , and this rivals the best of them. Try the little star- wow. Great thin crust also. It's the cornmeal.

We went at about 9pm on a Wednesday and it was pretty busy. We order the classic and metranian deep dish pizza. They have beer and wine too. Everything tasted fresh and high quality ingredients.

My title says it all- this place is a staple and once you eat here, you will come back over. And over. Excellent pizza. Even better deep dish.
