Went for happy hour wasn't bad at all. The sweet onion rings were delicious. Service was good. The only bad thing was the waiter didn't tell us about the happy hour until we asked. Also make reservations

I used to love this restaurant as the rolls are some of the better ones I have tried in San Francisco. However, the experience was not great when we went last week. The waiter was one of the worst I have experienced in San Francisco, it was like he did not have a clue how to serve in a restaurant... More

The restaurant was almost empty at 6:30 PM on a Friday. Only one table had "Reserved" sign yet a couple in front of us was told no table was available and we were told the same. We opted for the sushi bar. We go to Japan every year for at least a month to eat. We have numerous Japanese friends... More

I went to Yuzu with two friends. The intimate environment was cute and chic. The seaweed salad was delightful; it had pink and green seaweed which I had never seen before. We got four rolls, all quite tasty. My favorite was the Green Monster roll. It had seaweed on top and a spicy green sauce. Delicious! All the sushi rolls... More

Went there with some work colleagues and really enjoyed the restaurant, good fresh sushi, nice wines and Sake's. If you are in the marina then you have a good sushi restaurant right on your door step.

Last minute search for a Restaurant on a Thursday with no reservation was unsuccessful at first choice and having passed Yuzu along the way we decided to try it as we had wanted a sushi night during short visit to this city. We were not disappointed. The fish was extremely fresh, the choice of rolls creative, and the service very... More

We went to Yuza on a Thursday night. Our wait staff was friendly and helpful. We both had the miso soup with a side of brown rice. Very good.

Our hotel manager told us about this - only a couple of blocks from our hotel. The food was great (I had sukiyaki) my friend had sushi. Very interesting types of rolls. Service was nice. You should definitely get a reservation. We tried to walk in the first night - no luck, then made the reservation for the next night... More

I'm an amateur of japanese cuisine, including sushi and sashimi, so friends took me to Yuzu during my last visit to SF, and, though generally I'm not a big fan of rolls, at Yuzu I just went crazy for their s! The japanese chef has revisited the 'california roll' and made it a real, noble, specialty. We've had the 'shrimp... More

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
