Bought a sandwich "to go". Loved the old-world feel, like I was in Little Italy in NYC. Great selection of meats and cheeses. Outside seating available. A little bit of Italian Heaven in North Beach.

Amazing sandwich and a great local deli. Loved my sandwich and it was so good not only did I have one at the location but took one for the flight back to NJ.

Excellent deli. We loved our Italian sandwiches. Choose your fresh bread, then have them add whatever you like. In my deli I made the Italian with soft salami, sopressata, provolone, mortadella, hot peppers, oil/vinegar and oregano, lettuce, tomato. I had them make it exactly the same......wow was it good. The line forms quickly at lunchtime. So arrive a little early... More

First, this is a deli - not a sit down restaurant. Do they serve wine, no, but they sell it. The deli is packed particularly around lunch time as they are making fresh sandwiches to order. They have a fantastic array of cheeses and meats, fresh pasta and sauces. Grab a sandwich to go as you explore the city or... More

I love Molinari's sandwiches and they have the best deli! My favourite salami is the one cured in wine! They have all kinds of wonderful meats to take home or put on your sandwich! It is hands down the best deli in all of north beach. In fact it has to be one of the best in all of San... More

We've shopped for the coppa, the cheese, the pancetta, the prosciutto, the tortellini, the anything, for decades. It will put you in a good mood to go there, its the best. And they are fun!

Their family of Italian salumi is the best in California. Any of their Italian meat or combo sandwiches are fabulous. They come with a choice of accompaniments and breads. Great take out! Good shopping for Italian products, too. For a comparison try Lucca Deli on Chestnut Street in The Marina. Lucca uses many Molinari products for their sandwiches.

We used to have an Italian grocery store on just about every block (before the '70s). The demographics has 99% changed. But, holding out is Molinari's where you can still get great coppa, anchovy-filled olives and panetones. The guys sometimes can be brusk e.g. A. H's. but, it's worth even that.

As the oldest in North America, San Francisco's Chinatown is an exotic experience. A unique neighbourhood decorated with colourful shops, historic streetlights, hanging lanterns, and pagoda roofs awaits behind the stone-carved dragon gates.
