this is a trendy but casual place to come have later night drinks and food. yummy pizza for sure. we inhaled like 2 different ones. the wine is great. you can sit outside, but there's a covered roof, so you have protection from the sun or if its alittle wet outside. it was pretty busy there for a sun evening,... Only two entrees on the menu. One chicken, one salmon. When we asked the bartender..."when did the salmon come in?", she had to confer with the kitchen????? .... We ordered pasta bolognese. She suggested meat balls. We affirmed her request. We were served a cream sauce pasta and meat balls with a soggy-bread-to-meat ratio of 5 to 1. A dish... More

Visiting San Fransico and stumbled on this place. Right away it was welcoming. They have several TV's placed in good locations. Pizza was delicious and we enjoyed Italian beer and red wine.

Having just arrived after a long drive this was the perfect place to stop and get a bite to eat. Small place, cosy and quiet. Perfect for my partner and I to have a quiet evening meal. Food was delicious. If I'm ever in the city again I would visit here again!

Ugh. I loved the old version of this place. It was amazing. Food, service, atmosphere. Even the price point was decent. No longer. I wasn't sure if I was in a restaurant or at a Supermodel convention. I supposed I shouldn't expect much with the neighborhood, but still. Normally when a person eats at a bar, they hope for a... A nice neighborhood restaurant. The menu wasn't extensive but you'll find there is something for everyone. We had pizza which was excellent. Thin crust and lots of toppings. A number of beers on tap including Peroni. There is a good size outdoor dining area with heaters but we opted for indoor dining. Service was friendly and efficient.

Did I expect more? I did. After reading most of the reviews I was expecting elegant, cozy place with good food. Not a chance. Outside seats are so uncomfortable that if it wouldn't be for a very warm weather that evening I would definitely seat inside. It has an atmosphere of a sports bar with desperation to blend the Italian... More

Great italian menu, nice wine list. Recently changed owners but the new management has thus far maintained the great aspects of this classic eatery

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
