We have eaten here twice.. both times for the lunch buffet. They give generous servings and the food is good. The chicken and dumplings taste like canned chicken but the dumplings were good. Good corn bread and pinto beans.....everything else not bad and not great but good. The staff were very friendly and we didn't have to wait . The... More

Good chow. Good prices. Friendly folks. Nothing fancy, but what more could anyone want. Ding, ding. Come and get it.

Good southern food. Clean and friendly service. Better than stopping at another chain. Sweet tea was great and it looked like they have a meat and three for lunch. I had breakfast and it was good and cooked to order.

Things that may be helpful: 1) The restaurant is about 1.5 miles off the highway and is very easy to find; 2) It has a lot of local feel, customers, and charm; 3) price expectations -- lunch for two with sides and drinks was $14.80 plus a $3.20 tip. Gourmet dining? No. Non-chain, unique style, solid food, with lots of... More

Anytime we are in the area we eat here. We are probably there at least once a month for breakfast and even though we don't go that often when we walk in we are greeted with our water and de-caf coffee. One server knows exactly what my husband orders and asks me if I want the special or country ham.... More

I really do try to write balanced and fair reviews, understanding that my expectations and those of locals may be different. But there is no way I can give the food here a good review. People were friendly with good service, but the food was awful. Even if prices were attractive, you do tend to get what you pay for....and... More

The simple exterior of the building might deter some from stopping but the good down home southern cooked food was a delight. Sure the inside is not fancy, the place could use some TLC but it has the character of an out of the way place for tasty food. Service was good and the prices are very reasonable.

It is the only game in town and they serve the most awful pre cooked food that is not even warmed up enough to eat. Take your time and drive into Greeneville to eat somewhere else!
