We went yesterday, 3/24/17... The first owner had great burgers and gator bites. This time a year or two later, we were skeptical because we heard it was still "ok" and that the new management has a tendance to take the tips from the staff if you gave a tip on a credit card. We had no cash on hand... More

First time eating gator and it was so good! The fries, coleslaw and fried plantains were also great. They have a good cook there.

Ok so this place is great, out on a quiet road, serves gator and frog legs. Inside- there's room for about 6 people, otherwise you're sitting outside rain or shine. There is a gazebo but with the wind it's pretty much impossible to comfortably eat outside. On a calm day no worries. When I was here it was blowing 30mph... More

It was so nice to find a seafood place where everything isn't fried! I had the grilled Mahi sandwich and it was a large piece of fish! I loved the plantains and it came with cold slaw and tortilla chips. My hubby had the veggie sandwich which he liked. We loved sitting outside in the shade, too bad there was... More

We wanted to try Gator meat, so we stop here. For our surprise, the food was delicious. We tried the Gator Bites and Gator Caesar Salad. They have other choices. They also have dessert . The place is small but they have a big area outdoor where you can eat. Two thumbs up.

Grilled gator was great and conch chowder had big chunks of meat in it. They use only the tail tenderloin and cut it in good sized pieces. It was perfect. Asking for a tip when you pay in advance is kind of not cool, but go ahead, it will be worth it. I don't feel obligated to tip much for... More

The grill was cozy and convenient ... but the food nothing to write home about. Gator meat is tough and certainly not worth eating unless novelty is your primary objective. Other local options offer more interesting options.
