Yep! We were riding around like 20 minutes and then found this place! Super thankful - good margaritas, grilled fish and super huge stakes! Defenately recommend!

Great food, friendly service and not too expensive. Good menu selection and choice. Clearly popular with the local residents.

The mainly Cuban food menu was extensive using lots of options with meat, poultry or fish. My friend had a fish sandwich (the very last option under sandwiches) and said it was the best he'd ever eaten. The batter it was dipped in was very light, and the fish was so fresh and fluffy it melted in his mouth. He... More

Mario's has an extensive menu of Cuban specialties and all are cooked to perfection. The portions are large and reasonably priced. They have sit down dining inside and on the patio as well as a take out window. If you are in or passing through Homestead, stop in Mario's. You will really enjoy it.

Had a great breakfast sandwich with eggs & a cheese tequeño and it was pretty good . We called ahead and picked it up at the take out window which is really convenient. Food was fresh and hot so it was a great breakfast.

Home-cooking type atmosphere, good menu selection. They don't brew decaf coffee so if you want that, you'll get Sanka. Eggs and potatoes (papas de la casa) were good - pancakes not so much. If you order grits and don't want milk in them, you have to say so. Cuban grits have milk added - I'm used to grits with no... More

No frills, local flavor. Menu has plenty variety but main dishes mostly variations on same theme. Flan was unusually thick but yummy.

we went for a late breakfast on a Sunday morning. We ordered our food and received our croquettas and cafe con leches quickly. Unfortunately the food took over 30 minutes to be served. We told her we were in a hurry but the kitchen was backed up she said. Once the food arrived it was very good.

We have stayed overnight in the Homestead/ Florida City area many times on our way to Key West. For dinner we usually go to one of the well known chains but this time tried Mario’s. Mario’s was a great find. This restaurant, focusing on Cuban cuisine, seems to be basically patronized by the locals. Menu items consist of a wide... More
