Do you want to hear great music in an intimate venue with an attentive wait staff, full Chinese menu and bar then Chans is for you. We have been many times and this time we went to see Tinsley Ellis. Tinsley, as always, was great. My wife had the moo shu and I the Singapore noodles. We both enjoyed our... More

My husband and I recently visited to hear some music and have dinner. We arrived with about ten minutes left to the first set but we were charged the full amount for both sets. The owner should have prorated the price for the first set. The food all looks the same and has little flavor.

I have never written a review this bad but the food was horrible. How do you ruin chicken? I think they boiled it, same with the seafood dinner. I had to send my dinner back and at least they did not charge me for it. I really could not eat it. Waitress was very nice, hopefully she finds another job... More

This used to be the spot to go to for Chinese food in the area, now..not so much. Everything seems to have the same color and flavor now. The decor is overdue for a major refurb.

Went there for the victor wainwright show and had a great time. You are seated at large tables with other folks there for the show. Very nice people we sat with - everyone is there for the same reason, good music, food, and a great time. The server kept all of the checks straight, no idea how she managed that!... More

Spoil yourself to an amazing and intimate entertainment venue that will have you rethinking the idea of attending a large scale concert ever again. Don't make the mistake of underestimating the caliber and quality of all performances, by this 150 seat smaller dinner showroom. Many legendary performances are delivered past, present and future. Food and service is above-average and a... More

Recently, my wife and I ate dinner at Chan's before a show at a nearby theatre. The service was very good and the food was Great. The Pupu for two platter was more than just starter, we ate it as a meal. Great value here.

Chan's is an iconic music venue - one of a dying breed, I'm afraid. But where else can you experience great live music with table service bringing you better than average Chinese food. Tommy Chan sat us at our table just as he had decades ago for another great night of blues. We even parked on the street in front... More

We stopped for a quick lunch. The place was totally empty and a little creepy. The hostess didn't great us but yelled through the restaurant to someone else that we were there. The waitress was friendly. The food tasted good and fresh but it made me feel sick after, probably msg or something similar. I wouldn't eat there again.

The seats and the tables were comfortable. The service was very friendly and prompt. The prices were reasonable. Parking was easy and free in their parking lot. The entertainment was outstanding! The least of all was the quality, presentation and taste of the food.
