Took over an hour to get food. Asked the waiter repeatedly and kept being told the food was coming. Not recommended.

Relaxed bar atmosphere. Excellent food, with Caribbean twist. Go early to avoid crowds, or not - if you like a little more party vibe. Large portions, we got one appetizer, salad and entree, shared by 2 and had more than we could eat.
A group of 5 of us and we had no problem getting in. The menu was varied and I am not used to ordering this type of food. The server was very helpful and attentive. The Mahdi dish with linguini was very good.

I had lunch at the West Asheville location and was very satisfied. Lots of different menu choices make it tough to decide.Unique dishes you won't find at any other restaurant so, this is a good place to try something new for a change of pace.
