Service was friendly; food was OK. Have had better German. Portions were not that big for the price and location.

I enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service but was very disappointed in the portion size. I've eaten here for lunch and received the same amount of schnitzel for $7 less. I believed that the menu at one time explained that more meat was given at...More

You are correct. The dinner portions are to be a third larger. I am sorry that this happened to you, and actually am surprised. Perhaps they substituted a lunch portion accidentally. I hope you give us another chance, so please call Janis at 828-645-8383 and...More

Well worth the drive from Maggie Valley! After being stationed in and visiting Germany, this is German food at its best! Wonderful service. We enjoyed out-of-this world goulash suppe (the best we’ve ever had! Be sure to save some bread for sopping), tender and crisp...More

Small restaurant outside of Asheville, worth the drive. Excellent food and service. Waiter was very friendly, and very knowledgeable about their beer selection. Will definitely be back the next time we visit Asheville!

This place is a little outside of Asheville but worth the drive. A quaint relaxing log cabin. The service and food were both excellent. Would highly recommend!!

I'm sorry, but we have neither of those. The goulash has the pork tips now. It's delicious, though!
