With a plethora of great options in DT Asheville, I would recommend giving my business elsewhere. Simple as that.

I would love to give a full review but I was never let up. The hotel claims they don't let people up unless you are a hotel guest. Then they say there is a 30 min wait because they are capacity. I waited over 45...mins in the lobby as I heard the front desk tell people in person and on the phone (as it was constantly ringing for Capella) that they were not letting people up. at 8:45 pm I finally asked the front desk what was going on then they said they were closing in 15 mins. I found this highly annoying as I sat right in the front. They dont take reservations which is stupid. There are a million other places you can go to in Asheville that I am sure would welcome patrons and their business. SKIP CAPELLA ON 9. THEY DONT WANT YOUR BUSINESS.More

Stayed at the hotel on May 19 for 4 nights. On 2 nights we had drinks and they were good. Wife had their chocolate martini, she loved it. We ate there a 3rd night. Great burgers and they did not rush us, we stayed to...watch the sunset. Very friendly staff. We would return.More

My husband and I went here for drinks. Atmosphere was great and service was good. The views are amazing. It is first come for seating. They have tables and couches. We just sat at a couch since we weren’t eating. We spent about two hours...here just chatting, drinking & people watching. We tried to return the next night but it was open for hotel guests only so we are glad we went the night we did.More

Beautiful panoramic view of the city and mountains. Very romantic and great selection of wine. Breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. Apple maple bacon was very thick and flavorful.

A two is being generous. I could go on and on here but the service is trash. The bartenders just stand around chatting with each other when people are sitting without drinks. Never got the managers name but he’ll shout at you for even standing...up at your table without putting your mask on first. Will spare the details other than to say District 42 will have our business from now on. Almost like the staff doesn’t realize their jobs are in tourism/hospitality. Good views though if you get the right table!More

I REALLY don’t like negative reviews. That being said, hopefully this will be informative to the owners. First of all, place is totally cool/trendy/hip etc. fantastic view of city and surrounding mountains. Drinks good but food was the problem. My wife had the scallops. Were...undercooked and came with some sort of wilted green plant-like substance. Inedible! I had crab cakes which tasted ok but were tiny and lukewarm. Ordered bread and a glass of wine with dinner which was served AFTER I finished dinner. That being said, next time in Asheville, will definitely go here for cocktails. Who knows, food may get better, and if reviews favorable, may try dinner as well as cocktails!More

I ordered the crab cakes and asparagus this evening. This dish was super tasty. I definitely recommend this establishment.

We stayed at the AC Hotel and went upstairs the first evening just to get something to eat after traveling all day. What a pleasant surprise! The menu is a little limited, but what is on there is excellent. We ended up going back for...both breakfast and dinner the next day. The hostess and servers were very pleasant and professional and the atmosphere is great. Wished we could have found a table on the outside patio, but inside was still wonderful. Couldn't be happier with the experience and recommend it to anyone looking for a good dining experience in Asheville.More
