There are only 2 Entrees and lots of sandwiches and Appetizers. If you are looking for a real Indian meal go elsewhere. Waited 50 minutes despite the 20 minutes that they quoted us. For those who are not accustomed to Indian food they may not know the difference in Indian apps vs entrees however we do. Tiny restaurant, not a... More

We've been here and to their Decatur GA location. Food is always consistent and delicious. We enjoyed ourselves and will always return. Our only comment is, we don't care much for restaurants that have their servers wait on tables and prepare drinks. I comprehend but the balance of slow business and slow service, speed up your service and maybe you'll... More

Small restaurant with a very authentic Indian feel. Chai beer was great be sure to try it. Best masala I've had since eating at with my friends who are from India.

I think if you've been to many Indian restaurants, this place is definitely subpar. I was excited by all the many great reviews but was solely disappointed. The samosa Chaat is good and so is the bhel puri, but seriously they're overpriced! The veg Thali was definitely a disappointment. Like one reviewer said, the "roti" looks and tastes store bought.... By now, we've been to dozens of Indian restaurants in our lifetimes and have rarely been disappointed. By the stellar reviews here, we were really excited and didn't think this would be any different. Instead, we left extremely dissatisfied. First off, the food itself was sub par. It honestly didn't taste like much at all, lacking flavor and any substance... More

We visited Chai Pani MANY years ago during the Asheville Food Tour and the sample of the sloppy Jai stayed me with me. We were able to have lunch there on Friday and it was better than I remembered it. The service and food were outstanding. The flavors are so memorable. I had the sloppy Jai and my husband had... After reading reviews we decided to stop here for lunch while walking around Asheville. The flavors are spot on and the entrees were very different from any of our local Indian restaurants. I had the Indian "chicken nuggets" or chicken pakora. It was a huge portion and by far the best chicken nuggets I've ever had. My husband had a... More

I first went to Chai Pani in 2015 when I was in the area on business, and I was blown away by my lunch. So much so that I returned home and told everyone I knew in NY who either loves Indian food or travels (or both) about it. When I returned in the summer of 2016, my first stop... More
