Had dinner at Tupelo South with Mom, sisters & brother-in-law. Two of the six are locals & the rest of us are visiting from other states. This is a staple for where our local family takes visitors. There is a wide variety of familiar and...More

Started with the crispy Brussels sprouts, which were perfectly cooked and made a great starter. We also enjoyed the shrimp and grits and cauliflower steak and quinoa. Both were very good! Casual family style dining. Service was good.

Once you eat one of those huge biscuits you know you're in for a treat. Fabulous food that's creative and new. You can't go wrong eating here!

We enjoyed southern style cuisine here at a family dinner. Our server was friendly and very efficient. Food was dependably good. Sweet tea marinated chicken, biscuits and honey were really very delicious.

Different twist on southern favorites. Salmon, trout, fried chicken, sweet tea brined chicken, pimento burger. Biscuits with great blue berry jam, honey. We will definitely be back.

This may only apply to the location on Hendersonville Highway in Asheville, but a recent meal there was hardly worth eating. This place used to have all sorts of tasty things; now they are a chain it's been dumbed down and homogenized to the point...More

It's hard to believe Tupelo Honey operates 15 locations in 7 states, because you'd think the one you're in could not be duplicated! We enjoyed a nice, leisurely lunch/brunch at the south Asheville location and everything we had - including superb cocktails! - was delicious!...More

The food was excellent and service quite good. The fried chicken was among the best I've ever had--crispy on the outside and moist inside. It came as part of an unusual dish (to me) fried chicken atop sweet potato pancakes with bacon. (I took the...More

Very expensive ... Grilled chicken sandwich $15. Trout was $24..steak $28. All entrees are basically $20 and up . Trout was very good. Restaurant pays workers a living wage and is reflected in the menu prices. Atmosphere is very nice. The service was good.

Description
What constitutes "New South Flavors?" For us, it is begins with reverence for those time-honored Southern dishes. Served up by wonderful home cooks for years. We respect the freshness, the flavors and the food itself. But we like to jazz it up a little, add something deliciously unexpected to delight your palate. Our interpretation of traditional Southern fare is creative, inventive and satisfyingly scrumptious. Cheers to New South Flavor!
