Enjoyed a local ale and excellent food at the bar. Make a reservation to ensure a seat. Very popular place to eat! Railroad runs behind restaurant, entire place shakes when train goes by. Does not disturb anyone as it seems the give the place charm.

We didn't want a big fancy meal and this was perfect. Both of us had good salads. Dessert was a large tasty piece of coconut custard pie. Price was reasonable and service was good.

I remember when this was a bar and now impressed with the food!!! Cheesy fries were very delicious. The wonton tacos exquisite but a bit pricey for what you get. Nice ambience and will definately return

We stopped here to eat after shopping at Biltmore Village. The food was really good. We all got sandwiches. The reason I didnt give a 5 star is because it took forever for them to make our food.

Based on reviews I had read here and elsewhere about how good the Wayside is, we decided to stop there for lunch, the reviews were spot on---this place has good food. Located in a former train depot, right off the bat the atmosphere is pretty...More
