It is half off on all margaritas on Mondays! That was the main motivation to go today. They had some innovative items on the menu like roasted poblano pepper soup. Veg items were quite extensive. The waitress as very friendly. Prices are reasonable and the location in Baltimore Village is excellent.

This is not your average Mexican dive. This was excellent food. They give you so much and you can opt to forgo 2 sides to feed the hungry (you still get too much food). We had some of the best service EVER (male, tall with dark hair) and that comes from 2 people in the service industry. He was knowledgeable... More

As first time visitors to Asheville, we were walking through the Biltmore Village and discovered the The Cantina restaurant. The chips and salsa were very good and my wife and I both loved our Fajitas. The Cantina gives customers an option to donate their two sides to feed the hungry, a great idea. There was so much food that we... More

I have eaten at this restaurant prior to this past Saturday night and not had any issues. I decided I wanted to take my daughter and daughter-in-law out for Mother's Day the Saturday night prior and I wanted it to be very special so I chose The Cantina in Asheville - which is in another county - approximately a 40... This restaurant was one of many recommended by our hotel. With a dog friendly patio (love this about Asheville), we decided to give it a go. Our server was training another person, however both were extremely responsive and helpful regarding questions about the menu. We opted for the "skinny" margaritas (made with agave tequila and lime juice instead of mix)... More

We didn't find out until after our dinner that Cantina is owned and operated by Texans; this helps explain the tastiness of our meals. Appetizer of guacamole with chips and salsa was delicious. I tried the avocado based margarita and was surprised I enjoyed it. It went well with my Baja fish tacos (breaded and fried version) which really hit... More

After a day with the grandkids stopping by here for margueritas and malbec with some great chow was the way to end the day. It was right down the street from the hotel in the middle of Biltmore village. So relaxing.

Super busy on Cinco de Mayo, but our 30 minute wait (even using their call ahead service) was worth it. Fun times, good server, good margaritas, excellent entrees (steak quesadilla and shredded beef enchiladas) and reasonable prices.
