We were in Asheville on our Honeymoon. When we checked into the Best Western, we asked for a good local place to eat dinner. The food was delicious. The waitress was fantastic. The portions are huge. We took leftovers back to our hotel room. I will eat here again when we go back.

Asheville was a stopover for us, on our way from St. Louis to Myrtle Beach. If there's one most important thing for us about regional North Carolina cuisine, it's a country ham breakfast. So eschewed the complementary breakfast at the hotel and went to Cornerstone. If Cornerstone had a red-eye gravy to go over the grits to go with the... More

Conveniently located on Tunnel Road, just off of I-240, this is a nice go-to place for a quiet comfortable meal. A varied menu and attentive wait staff.

This was our my first visit to Asheville, as my husband and I came to visit our adult daughter. She was eager to show us around Asheville, including some of the restaurants. On our first night, we were too tired to go far, so we ended up at a place she had never visited, the Cornerstone Restaurant. All our dishes... More

If your looking for a great value for your buck, you need to try Cornerstone. The menu is awesome but breakfast for dinner is wonderful. Try the home fries they are to die for. The wait staff is so nice and they make you feel at home too.

Our server was somewhat hesitant as first and seemed flustered. She recovered nicely and ended by being very good. I had Moussaka, which was listed as containing penne pasta, it was good but of course contained no penne. Large side salad, the ranch was great! Homemade honey mustard wasn't as good. Wife's Chicken tenders large, lightly breaded and well cooked.... More

The food was very good. Big portions, very tasty. It was very busy when I was there so service was a bit slow, but the staff was very friendly.

We ate here a number of times during our week in Asheville, and it was quick, consistent and a great value for the cost. You will walk out with a carryout bag, and be happy with what you ordered and managed to eat on-site. It is not fancy, but it is darn good food for a great price.

Had soup and sandwich. Soup was perfect, not too salty. Sandwich was toasted to a golden brown with lots of chicken salad. Service was quick and pleasant.
