The food is always good at Mooo but I always find it to be very loud and hard to maintain a conversation. My wife and I went for New Years Day Brunch. The food was great and the service was good only to a fellow server in the area that was more attentive than our server. Our server seemed like... More

My wife and I had an excellent meal; first class steak dinner, with wonderful Duckhorn wine (Pardaux). We were staying at the hotel and found the staff to be very friendly.

Wonder atmosphere, steak was out of this world, sides were awesome! The entire staff was very concerned with customer satisfaction and extremely pleasant and appropriately social. Very impressed with server knowledge of wine as well as his flexibility on sharing sides and salads and letting us sample wines before making a choice. Yes...Go there.

We received a gift card to this restaurant for my birthday. I booked it on open table and requested a quiet table, which we got. It is a lovely restaurant with valet parking right next to it. We arrived 20 minutes early and sat at the bar. Our bartender was wonderful and they have a huge wine selection. We were... More

Twice now for Christmas we have gone to Mooo. On both occasions we fully enjoyed ourselves. Every aspect of the meal was top notice - wine, martini, oysters, tuna tartare, steak, hens, & the chocolate cake. Nose level was perfect - service was as well. Of course all of this comes at a price, but at least you are receiving... More

I had dinner at Moo on 12/20/16 with a friend. He ordered the ribeye and I ordered the filet mignon. For sides, we had the exotic mushroom risotto and the sauteed spinach. The food was way below any other steakhouses I have frequented in the past. The risotto was good but some of the mushroom caps were whole which made... More

So we finished up our weekend in a steak place as per traditional this year at Mooo which was recommended to us on.. our first impressions were a little mixed.. the 2 ladies at the front were very pleasant and helpful and showed those of us to the table who arrived early. As we waited a few mins for the... More

I had an amazing meal at Mooo. I started off with the bone marrow which was delicious with the garlic and bread. I had the 22oz bone-in ribeye and it was flavored and cooked perfectly. I was with a group, so we tried all the sides, and they were all good, but the surprise sides were he squash and cauliflower.

My husband and I took our daughter here for her birthday. The decor was lovely and the service impeccable but some dishes were hit or miss for me. The wagyu dumplings were expensive and small- my daughter loved them but I didn't really care for them - same for the mixed mushrooms. The steaks were good although I think I... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
