Got a tip from a friends about this restaurant. Food was outstanding and service was fast and friendly. Can't beat the deal on awesome food! We ate the night before across the street at Giacomo's, that was also excellent, but Panza is just as good or better! pricing is about the same. (line may be shorter too)

Really enjoyed Panza. In the heart of Boston's Little Italy. It is a very small place so be sure to reserve in advance. Homemade pasta was delicious. I had a cavatelli special with a spicy sausage and vegetable sauce. Bread and bruschetta were delicious. Service was efficient and attentive. To top it off the prices were very reasonable.

Walked to the North End on a cold Sunday for a late lunch. Place was still busy but we sat right away. It's pretty small with an open kitchen. My wife ordered the veal marsala and I had the veal piccata. Both were excellent. Inexpensive wine list. Lots of great restaurants in the North End but we will go to... More

We come every so often to Boston for a city break from Pittsburgh. We always go to the North End for a dinner and have tried various places. This place can't be beat. It's not a quiet, romantic place. Tables are tight, not a problem for us - and we're not tiny people. People are laughing, talking to their neighbors,... More

I do recommend this place. I had made a reservation ahead of time yet I still had to wait 20 minutes for a table, but they are small and can't help that the tables weren't turning over. Food was delicious and was served pretty quickly.

Panza has been to the "go to" restaurant for my fiancé and I for the past year now. It is a small restaurant and reservations are necessary. The portions are large and the price is not. We usually start with a chopped salad for two which contains cheeses, meats, artichoke hearts, and always the freshest romaine lettuce with an incredible... More

Great location in the North End. This is a compact, lively restaurant filled with laughter and energy. Definitely a happy place, in no small part due to the relaxed but professional staff who work there. I went with a group of 6 friends; we arrived on time but the short wait for our table was well worth it. I went... More

Panza is very good! I totally loved the ITALIAN CHOP SALAD (FOR TWO)! This is a meal in itself for $11! The BEEF & VEAL TORTELLONI can't be beat! The place is small and they use every space for tables! Be prepared for a noise fun delicious experience!

Panza is a pretty casual place that would have a great dinner or lunch on a week day, they serve generously and charge appropriately, it's one of my favorite and authentic Italian places, and they do take reservations.

Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
