We've been here twice, with a larger group both times (12 people). Good selection of comfort food. Decent quality but nothing really "outstanding". Wide selection of beers and ciders. Downstairs room good for a large group. Nice people. Good service.

We stopped here for lunch and shared a prosciutto pizza, the pizza was topped with argula and drizzled with balasamic vinger it was tasty and different. We noticed a table near us had the same meal and they also enjoyed it. The lunch menu was somewhat limited but that can be expected for lunch and the burgers seemed pricey. The... More

Met a good friend and spent 3 hours catching up. The wait staff were very patient with us and did not rush us along, yet we were not ignored. The "social hamburger" was HUGE and very tasty. Second time I have been here.

Visited with a group. Is basically a sports bar that serve simple food. Calamari tasted not fresh . Very greasy burger with no taste at all. I think it is a great place to have drinks but skip the food.

Very average food and average service lucky in a busy area. Lucky across the road from a convention centre. Big group. Not ready for us . Truly very poor menu and average food. No atmosphere. Had the prime rib and truly barely edible.

We met my son in Boston for dinner and he recommended we try here. Right in the area of Newbury Street and Copley we found this great little restaurant. The food was very good and the atmosphere was great. There were millennials, people in their 30's and 40's. Our waiter was great and did not hover. We had Salmon, chicken... More

A short walk from Copley Square and the Hynes Convention Center, this is a bustling pub targeting an upscale, professional crowd. Good for late breakfast, lunch and late at night. Eclectic pub menu includes items as diverse as a potato pizza, which is really pretty good and lighter than it sounds.

Inspired by a time when social clubs served as the mainstay for cocktails, conversation and community, Back Bay Social Club invites those with a craving for delicious food, a laid back vibe and good company to stop in and stay a while. Red leather booths, dark mahogany bars, black and white tiled floors and pressed tin ceilings set a scene reminiscent of 1960’s Manhattan in this two-story Back Bay restaurant. The menu of American favorites is available until 1:30am daily, one of the few in the area to do so. The well-rounded menu offers something for everyone, such as The Social Burger, a carefully-sought blend of dry-aged beef smothered in onions and cave-aged cheddar, and fun daily blackboard specials. Beverage Manager Tom Masticola, who launched No. 9 Park’s thriving bar program, is the mastermind behind riffs on classic cocktails like The Club High Ball with Sazerac rye and Maine root ginger beer and the White Russian made with house-made coffee liquor. With its friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and food from Open to Close, Back Bay Social Club has something for everyone.

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
