We passed by this place a few times over the week we stayed in Boston but didn't make it in until our last night there. We're disappointed we didn't try it sooner. The menu is great for dinner and late munchies. The margarita and tequila...More

The salads, entrees & sandwiches were all very good (I had great Cubano which was very tasty). The French fries were very crisp, just the way I like them. We also tried the Fried Manchego Cheese which was outstanding. Reasonably priced place for lunch.

Came for lunch and had delicous shrimp tacos. Little on the pricey side- $12 for 2 fairly small tacos but was good. Decent service, not busy at all, and nice atmosphere. Lots of good looking drinks on the menu and would consider coming back as...More

Shrimp tacos at lunch offered 2 or 3 for lunch - server was slow but apologies and brought our table of 6 a complimentary appetizer. Entrees for all in our party were well prepared and tasty.

Love the style and design and everyone was nice and attentive. I think we ate like a dozen things and all of them were great. The standout was the fresh chorizo tacos with green tomato jam, which is the best thing ever - had to...More

We shared the beet appetizer) probably the best and most novel way of cooking beets I've ever had!) - amazing. I had a burger and my wife had the Bronzino (both quite good). Best part - Lord Hobo (craft brewer in the Boston area) was...More

Description
Tico, Michael Schlow's award-winning venture, located at 222 Berkely St (corner of St James) is casual, fun, inviting, energized and energizing. The restaurant has a personal, somewhat eclectic, "found" feel, with lots of reclaimed wood and unusual pieces. Perfect for friends that want to share cool cocktails, plates of tasty, sometimes spicy food, while listening to great music, in a fast, uncomplicated restaurant that provides knowledgeable, quick, playful service. The restaurant has an open kitchen with 6 stools right on the counter to watch all the action. It also boasts a large bar, dining room for 100, a chef's table, and a lush outdoor courtyard that features a fireplace, dining for 50, as well as some "soft" seating near the fire if guests wish to be outside for a drink or snack.
