We were meeting family in Boston to celebrate two milestone birthdays. We had dinner reservations at a restaurant in the North End. I called Maria's Pastry Shop the week before and ordered a Napoleon for 20 people and asked for it to be delivered to the restaurant. Everything went off without a hitch that night and it was the most... More

The cannoli was actually better than Mike's cannoli, but with less wait time. Mike's is very good with lots of variety but head to head this one is better. Maria's has it going on.

The cannolis are as good as Mikes pastry! The line is not as long as the line at Mikes (a lot of hype). Seemed to be a very small kitchen area. The young lady who waited on us was very pleasant and made the visit enjoyable. I would go here again for good cannolis !

I have never really liked cannoli's before. They were always too sweet. Of course all of the ones I have had were from Italian bakeries and restaurants in the south. So I was hesitate to try one, but my husband convinced me. He ordered the chocolate dipped with ricotta filling. Holy cannoli it was good! We will be back tomorrow... More

Stopped in and met the folks there. Have been to the "other" pastry shops and the line and was as big as the hype. True Italian pastry shop. A gem. Go now!

Look past the armies of tourists equipped with Mike's pastry boxes in a widespread propaganda coup. Maria's is the real deal and definitely has the best pastries in the city. Everytime I visited a local would be buying theirs and there was a local buzz to the store. The staff were super friendly and helpful in explaining all the different... More

Go there early in the morning for the breakfast pastry. Heavenly. This is like being in Italy. It is simple pastries and confections properly done. And you can choose between made on site pastries or from other sources. The canoli's are the best in the world. Made fresh and stuffed to order.

A local tour guide for North End introduced me to this pastry shop, and initially I didn't believe her based on the shop front. After having my first, freshly made and freshly filled to order Canolli from Maria's Pastry, I am never having another Canolli from any other place in Boston. Best ever!!

Our tour guide luckily recommended this place to us due to the owner's long history of caring for others in the community. While some of the more well known shops had long lines, we were able to walk right in, and the service immediate. The homemade cannoli was incredible! We highly recommend Maria's!
