Nice cool and dim pub to duck into during the heat of the afternoon. I had the fish and chips and enjoyed a couple Sebago run about red ales. This afternoon just got better! The freedom trail takes you right by their front door!

We stopped here for lunch after taking a walking tour on the Freedom Trail. The beer was cold, the food was tasty and the service was great.

We were hot and hungry and randomly stumbled in to this restaurant. Little did we know this would be our BEST meal in Boston! Great atmosphere, clean, and friendly staff. But the food is what knocked the ball out of the park. "The Mayflower" sliced...More

We went for a flight of beers to try some new local beers. We sat at the bar and had a good conversation with the bartender. He was nice and knowledgeable about the beers. We didn't eat there.

Four of us had lunch here and a few cold beers. The meals were ok but plentiful and the choices of beer on the menu were extensive. Nice atmosphere and the service was great.

Very disappointed with the food - quality and portion sizes don't justify the price. The beer they brew onsite "Freedom Trail IPA" was excellent, but still did not make up for the disappointing food experience. The Mayflower burger was extremely soggy, the half size of...More

Soaked bun in tasteless beef jus. Not the greatest idea ever. Burgers were just ok. Coke tasted weird.

My husband and I went to The Tap to avoid a sudden downpour and lucked out with some great drinks. Trey was our bartender and took a lot of care with the preparation of our drinks. Delicious! Glad we discovered this place by accident 😀

We went here after receiving a $25 gift card in the mail from the restaurant as a promotional event. We had never been to the Tap Trailhouse before and decided that since we had this promo from them we would test them out. We walked...More

We were walking along the Freedom Trail and after the chaos at Quincy Market we decided to stop here. I thoroughly enjoyed the flight of dark beer as our cruise ship was lacking in that area. We shared the potato, broccoli and spelt fritters and...More

The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with
historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through
one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston
Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling
statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the
pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where,
during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting
children and eager tourists through the pond. Have
