It sure didn't take long for this flashy debut on the Greenway to turn so mediocre. The problems started with the service -- unprepared for our reservation for a party of 6, tardy and clueless server who not only didn't know where the oysters came from, but seemed puzzled by the question (Duxbury or Wellfleet -- what?). Also conflated different... More

Attended a business luncheon with preset menu: family style Arugula salad, fried calamari and 4-Cheese flatbread. Entree is either seared salmon or grilled steak. The salad is ordinary (boring). The calamari is chewy, not crispy. The flatbread is OK. The salmon has a fishy taste that made me sick! The dessert is an apple tart with ice cream. They gave... More

It was getting late and i was walking with my 11 year old daughter, who was long ready for dinner. I am not real familiar with this section of Boston... I was about to call an Uber and get us to the North End when she said.... "lets eat here". I felt a little under dressed, but I knew she... More

the meal was quite good, I had the beet salad, which was colourful and flavourful, nice size, then the chicken sandwich, which would have been tough to eat as a sandwich given the size, so I just took off the top of the bun and use knife and fork. The chicken was hot and tasty with some zest. Only downside... More

Dinner at this cutting edge restaurant was great. The food was fresh and presented in an appealing fashion. It is located on the Quincy market area. Leave the market and walk here.

The restaurants decor is awesome, the vibe is awesome, but, unfortunately we did not get a good server and i feel that altered our opinion of the restaurant. Everything we ordered tasted great, and the variety of foods was amazing. The chicken meatballs, and flatbreads were awesome. Again, our service was not good, and Brendan unfortunately should not be a... More

Great spot to meet people, lively but doesn't feel congested due to corner location and tables layout. A diverse menu. Coffee could use improvement.

Even with reservations, it took a while to get a table. However, once we were seated, the service was great. One of my friends has dietary restrictions, and our waiter went out of his way to check with the chef to ensure she would be safe. The menu was interesting with selections which were out of the ordinary. I can't... More

They will give you priority if you have dinner vs just having drinks with friends. As busy as it gets, the staff can easily forget you. The duck was great but I like mine more cooked. The sauce and veggies really mixed well but I would've rather had a plate to separate vs a bowl that combines everything. Chianti was... More

After 3 days in Boston we finally found somewhere that knew about service ! What a delight this place is. Excellent food and wine selections and a waiter who actually knew the menu. I highly recommend

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
