Had an excellent last family meal at Legal Sea Foods Long Wharf. Chowder for all, lobster, crab cakes, arctic char all cooked nicely. Predictable corporate wine list. Service very friendly and helpful.

We had dinner at Legal Seafood primarily because of its close proximity to our hotel. The place was very busy when we arrived but our party of 4 was seated right away with no reservation. We got 2 dozen mixed oysters for the table and...More

After a long day sightseeing, we were looking for a relaxed dining experiance. Food was fantastic. Service was great, and at no time did we feel that the staff were eager for us to leave(for another sitting). Very enjoyable evening.

As with every restaurant in the theater district in Boston, very crowded. Legal Seafood is huge! We sat downstairs near the wine display. Party of 8, 3 ordered the Ciopinno, a seafood mix with lobster. 2 of the servings had very little lobster, one had...More

I’m a frequent customer of this restaurant and I’m always happy with the food and the staff. Fresh seafood, reasonable princes given the type of foods. Very good!

Legal Sea Foods has multiple locations in the area. Legal is never a bad choice. The menus vary at each venue so check the menu first if you are looking for a favorite dish. This location is in the heart of the harbor close to...More

I liked this restaurant last time I visited but somehow this time it was disappointing. The welcome and the serving staff were very good but the food was slow to arrive and lukewarm with unappealing presentation. Maybe we caught them on an off-night and the...More

If you like seafood you can't go wrong at Legal. A fresh menu of traditional fare. Nice kids menu. A favorite for our family is the cauliflower appetizer. Just be sure to order well done as sometimes it is undercooked. This is a no brainer...More

The service was great but the restaurant was rather cramped. The food was ok not worth price. I have been to Legals many times but since it's become a big chain the food is just good but not great.

The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with
historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through
one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston
Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling
statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the
pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where,
during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting
children and eager tourists through the pond. Have

if memory serves they have a small patio out front but you would need to see the hostess first to make sure they have someone working the outside tables. weather permitting of course.

The signature dish at Legal Sea Foods - really fresh fish. Enjoy ocean-side dining just steps from the New England Aquarium. Our restaurant couldn't be more convenient to the Financial District, Freedom Trail, Faneuil Hall and waterfront hotels. We think a visit to Boston must include a meal at Legal Sea Foods. Legal Sea Foods has long proven that a consistent, high quality dining experience never goes out of style. With over 40 varieties of fresh fish and shellfish available throughout the year as well as an award-winning wine list, there's no doubt why legions of fans have fallen hook, line and sinker. We've received a boatload of accolades including "Most Popular Boston Restaurant" (Zagat, 2011/2012), "Best Seafood Restaurant" (Improper Bostonian, 2010), "Best Chowder" (Boston Magazine, 2010), "Best Seafood Restaurant" (Boston Phoenix, 2009) and the honor of serving our legendary New England Clam Chowder at every presidential inauguration since 1981.
