Stopped in for a quick breakfast on the way to Quincy Market. Breakfast was OK. Service good, staff friendly. A bit of a "greasy spoon" type of place, but it worked.

Being a visitor to Boston, this place was a little confusing when you walk in as to how to order and pay. It was very crowded, but the manager was very helpful and we finally got our order in. The food was worth the wait.

After searching for a local lunch place in Boston in the financial district, we happen to run across this place. Was not at all impressed by this place. We ordered sandwiches for lunch and two orders of fries. The fries came in a chinese type bucket with about 1000 fries in each, over cooked. The manager or owner or the... More

This deli is in the financial district and is very busy with take out orders. They have a few tables to sit down at. If they are full, you just have to wait a couple of minutes for one to open up. You place your order at the counter and take a seat. They will bring your order to you.... More

I went here based on TripAdvisor reviews and was not disappointed. Perfect placed for a quick breakfast and lunch stop. Clean and simple; can't ask for more than that. Bread selection for toast is great - homemade, I think. Breakfast was very reasonably priced. Unfortunately, not open on weekends as it's in the office district. Lots of office personnel and... Very reasonable prices and good breakfast food. A man I assume was the owner sitting in the main area at a table with a computer gave us all kinds of great recommendations about the city as we were visitors and about the menu. Very friendly, very good breakfast at a very reasonable price (hard to find in Boston).

Great little diner serving amazing breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Busy with locals which is a good sign. They do lunch and dinner too.

Ran in for a late lunch after arriving at Hilton, 2 blocks away. Lady behind counter completely ignored me and a man sitting in dining room with an office set up (computer, bills, calculator, the whole bit) was shouting into the kitchen. Finally asked if I could order buffalo chicken wrap, coffee and chips. $18 for cold chicken, warm coffee... More

In March, I traveled to the 42nd NSBE Convention in Boston, Massachusetts. It was my first visit to Boston. I stayed at the Hyatt Hotel – Downtown. The doorman informed me that there were a variety of good restaurants to eat in the area. With my iPhone’s GPS, I marched out on foot to find these good restaurants (I got... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
